Thiruvananthapuram: The state cabinet on Tuesday decided to support the family of CRPF havildar V V Vasantha Kumar, who was killed in the February 14 Pulwama terror attack.Chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan said the cabinet has decided to make Vasantha Kumar’s wife, who is at present a temporary employee at the Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University at Pookode in Wayanad, a permanent staff. The cabinet paid homage to all the CRPF men who lost their lives in the attack, and urged the people to stay united in battling the terrorism.The cabinet also decided to appoint Katrina, the widow of Biju Anjanikkal who was killed in wild tusker’s attack in Kottiyoor in Kannur, as part-time sweeper at Narikkadavu forest office at Aralam.The cabinet also decided to recommend the governor to re-promulgate as many as nine ordinances.
