Government amends eligibility criteria for architecture course

Applications can be submitted online through www.cee.kerala.gov.in till 5pm on February 28, a CEE statement said here on Thursday. Earlier, minimum aggregate mark was not included in the criteria.Candidates for architecture course in the state are selected from the list of candidates figuring in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA).However, students will have to apply separately to the commissioner for entrance examination (CEE) for admission to architecture and other professional courses. Thiruvananthapuram: Consequent to the changes made by the council of architecture in the eligibility criteria for candidates seeking admission to architecture courses in the country, the state government has amended the clause 6.2.3(a) of the KEAM prospectus-2019.As per the amendment, only those candidates having minimum 50% marks in higher secondary examination and 50% in aggregate for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry would be eligible to apply for architecture course . Only those who applied for NATA would be eligible to submit applications to CEE.
