Two arrested for robbing, attacking migrant workers

KOCHI: Central police on Wednesday arrested two persons for robbing two pedestrians at night after attacking them with a dagger. The accused had attacked the migrant labourers and tried to rob them. It was some migrant labourers working in a hotel in the city who were robbed by the duo.The arrested are Ratheesh (25) of Kathrikadavu and Antony alias Chedi Vinod (21) of Nettoor. One of them were stabbed on the arm and the attackers robbed him off his purse when he fell.The accused were presented in court and remanded in judicial custody.
