Mr. Chandy said that nursing students passing out from Karnataka colleges might not find employment abroad and in other States, which insist on INC-approved courses. Former Chief Minister Oommen Chandy has written to the Karnataka government to revoke its recent decision to allow nursing courses in colleges unapproved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) on the ground that it will mar the career prospects of students, a majority of them Keralites.
