Loknath Behera to return as Kerala Police chief

Loknath Behera will return as State Police Chief (SPC) in Kerala. The Cabinet took the decision based on the recommendation of a three member committee chaired y Chief Secretary Nalini Netto. The State Cabinet decided to appoint him back in the post that he had vacated when T.P.Senkumar returned as State Police Chief after fighting a legal battle that went up to the Supreme Court. Mr. Behera is currently the Director of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau. He will take over charged from Mr. Senkumar on Thursday.
