Auto driver dies of cardiac arrest

An autorickshaw driver died of cardiac arrest while driving near Pattoor on Thursday. He was returning to an autorickshaw stand at PMG Junction after dropping a passenger. He is believed to have died soon after he brought the vehicle to a halt on the roadside near Moolavilakom Junction. The Pettah police identified the driver as Sajikumar, 36, of Pachalloor. Though he was rushed to the Government Medical College Hospital, his life could not be saved, the police said.
