Man booked for FB post affecting national integration

Based on a complaint lodged by village administrative officer of Kallapuliyur (in-charge of Kumbakonam West) Surendrakumar, police registered a case under section 153B (1) (a) (b) of the IPC (imputations, assertions prejudicial to national integration). In the invitation, he printed India’s map and had highlighted Tamil Nadu and Tamil Eelam (the provinces which were once under the control of LTTE in Sri Lanka) in black colour. He was also the president of the outfit for Kumbakonam area.
