Centre has failed to deliver: Congress

Despite the repeated demands of the Congress president Rahul Gandhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been maintaining a stoic silence on the allegations. K. S. The government was at the fag end of its tenure but, it had failed to keep its promises. Mr. Dutt urged the Congress cadre to carry out campaign to highlight the misdeeds of the BJP government.

more-in Alleging that the Narendra Modi government had failed to deliver on various aspects of governance, AICC general secretary Mukul Wasnik said that the people would teach a lesson to the BJP by voting it out. Speaking at a demonstration, protesting against the scam involved over the purchase of Rafale fighter jets, organised by the Tiruchi District Congress Committees on Sunday, Mr. Wasnik said the BJP came to power by promising tall promises. The government was at the fag end of its tenure but, it had failed to keep its promises. Moreover, the people were at the receiving end due to its poor governance and ill conceived economic policies. Hence, the people would teach a lesson to the BJP in the ensuring Parliament elections. AICC national secretary Sanja Dutt alleged that the ruling government had to face the heat of the people for involving major scam in the purchase of Rafale fighter jets.
