TRICHY: Police on Monday night arrested three teenagers for allegedly recording video of a woman schoolteacher taking bath in her home at Aavarampatti on the outskirts of Trichy and threatening to share the video on social media.One of the arrested teenagers is aged 16 years while the other two are aged 17 years. Two of them are Class X and Class XII students in a government school at Manapparai while the other one completed Class XII.The three boys were residents of the same village. They used a cellphone to record video of the woman taking bath on Monday morning.The woman noticed the trio and raised alarm. The teenagers ran away leaving behind a piece of paper.The woman took the paper and submitted it to the Vaiyampatti police. There were some obscene words about the woman on the paper. Besides, it also carried a message threatening that they would release the video on social media if she revealed their activity to anyone.The police, who arrested the teenagers, said the video had been deleted from their cellphone. They were arrested based on the handwriting of one of them which matched with the handwriting on the paper.The trio were sent to a government observation home here.
