Trichy:Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam leader T T V Dhinakaran has said that chief minister Edappadi K Palaniswami's hasty actions in the Kodanadu murder -robbery case had raised doubts.He was speaking to journaloists at Kumbakonam in Thanjavur on Thursday.Though AMMK has been preparing for a pre-poll alliance with like-minded parties in the state, Dhinakaran said that they would not hesitate to face the election alone.“Some of the parties are conversing with us with regard to alliance for the ensuing general elections. However, we will not hesitate to contest all the 40 seats alone if no alliance fructifies as our late leader J Jayalalithaa did in 2014,” he said. He also claimed that his party would sweep all the seats in the general elections if it contested alone.On the Tiruvarur byelection which was cancelled by the election commission, Dhinakaran alleged that both DMK and AIADMK strived hard to get the bypoll cancelled as they knew that AMMK was the frontrunner. He also accused both the parties of forging a secret pact on sharing tenders statewide.
