Saying that several young party workers were denied opportunity, he urged people to vote for NOTA.By giving seats to heirs of party leaders, present day parties including the DMK, AIADMK, PMK, DMDK and Congress are setting a wrong precedent and sowing seeds of dynasty politics. Democracy cannot survive unless poor youngsters are not allowed to enter the poll fray, he said.“Not all second-generation politicians are inefficient, but dynasty politics is where money comes into play. Politicians influence their party through money power to get seats for their heirs. But, the poor youngsters are deprived of an opportunity for lack of money. We can teach the political parties a lesson by the voting for NOTA in these constituencies, he said.Domestic unrest in the country and Naxal issues are the outcome of youngsters taking the wrong path when denied opportunity. Therefore, politicians shouldn’t become a reason for such a long-lasting issue in the country, he said.Dinakaran’s earlier campaigns demanding a separate parliamentary constituency had received good response. NOTA received close to 51,000 votes in the four assembly segments in Pudukottai district in the last election. These assembly segments are parts of the neighbouring parliamentary constituencies. People said that they were denied representation in Parliament without a separate Pudukottai constituency.
