Stalin launches poll campaign from his father's constituency Tiruvarur

TIRUVARUR: The DMK chief MK Stalin launched election campaign from his father and the late former CM M Karunanidhi 's assembly constituency Tiruvarur on Wednesday. Stalin distributed pamphlets that had excerpts from the party's election manifesto.DMK supporters showered flowers and burst crackers as Stalin interacted with locals at Sannidhi street, Keezha Sannidhi Street and Vasan Nagar. As part of the election campaign, Stalin also met locals residents.The bypoll is being held in Tiruvarur assembly seat which fell vacant after demise of DMK patriarch M Karunanidhi last year. Stalin campaigned for his party candidate Poondi Kalaivanan.
