The AIADMK front leaves only 30 minutes break for lunch and continues the campaign from the covered cargo van equipped with loudspeakers.The Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam (AMMK) candidate Sarubala Thondaiman has been starting her election campaign by around 7 to 8 am by giving a brief break during the lunch. “By campaigning on foot in the morning and evening, we spend the noon in the campaign vehicle. We cannot afford to spend the limited time in resting,” a functionary with AMMK said.Sources in Congress, which fielded Su Thirunavukkarasar, said the party will cover all panchayats in one assembly constituency at a time, thus leaving rest time only during lunch.
