Case against six Dhinakaran supporters

Rajaraja Cholan, all supporters of deputy general secretary of AIADMK (Amma) T.T.V. Following this, Anbazhagan, Rockfort Zone secretary of AIADMK (Amma), lodged a complaint against Mr. Cholan and others with Rockfort police station. Dhinakaran, for creating trouble at a government function attended by Tourism Minister Vellamandi N. Natarajan. According to sources, demanding the resignation of Mr. Natarajan from the Cabinet apparently for taking sides against Mr. Dhinakaran, they heckled the Minister and Tiruchi MP P. Kumar at Rockfort temple on Friday. The police on Saturday registered a case against six persons, including M.D.

Kumar at Rockfort temple on Friday. This led to a scuffle between supporters of the rival groups. Following this, Anbazhagan, Rockfort Zone secretary of AIADMK (Amma), lodged a complaint against Mr. Cholan and others with Rockfort police station. They were booked under Section 506 (criminal intimidation), 341 (wrongful restraint) and 147 (rioting) of Indian Penal Code.
