The construction of the market has been funded by the Rural Infrastructure Development Fund of National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development. The market will cater to vegetable and fruit traders and has a rest room, conference hall, weighing machines, canteen and toilet blocks for men and women. ?65 crore projectThis has been a long felt-need and the market, constructed at an estimate of ?65 crore, has 1,000 shops built on a sprawling area of about 10 acres.
