Nothing “objectionable” was found in their speeches by the district election departments.Rajasthan Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Anand Kumar confirmed that Jaipur Collectorate and Udaipur Collectorate gave a clean chit in both the matters. The reports were sent to the CEO office by the district election departments.According to an official, BJP was sought an explanation through a notice on Shah’s speech. The report was later sent to the state’s CEO office by Jaipur Collectorate.The official said the BJP replied saying Shah was addressing the youths at a private school and it was not a public rally or meeting. “The second thing they said was “Girebaan pakar lena” or “Girebaan mai jhakna” is a hindi phrase. This phrase is often used in Rajasthani language. They (BJP) clarified it is often used to criticize or rebuke someone,” said the official.The complaint against Amit Shah was lodged by the Congress for the former's alleged controversial statements that "the leaders of the opposition parties should be held by their collars and not allowed inside the villages".An official said nothing “objectionable” was found in the Raj Babar’s video. According to the official, the transcript shows that Babbar had not named anyone in the video. The report was submitted by the returning officer of Girwa in Udaipur, Lok Bandhu, to Udaipur Collectorate and it forwarded the report to the office of Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of the state.The BJP had complained to the Election Commission of India and the state election department against Congress leader Raj Babbar for allegedly making derogatory statements during a public rally in Udaipur assembly constituency. He allegedly said two people from Gujarat were running a gang in Delhi to kill the poor.The party alleged him of creating and promoting hatred and insulting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP President Amit Shah.
