Winter shows withdrawal symptoms; rain and hailstorm likely

Bhilwara remained coldest in the state where a minimum temperature of 5.2 degree Celsius was recorded, the Met reports said on Sunday.Foggy conditions in the early morning were followed by cloudy conditions in the afternoon. A few places also witnessed mild showers in the evening as it guided mercury to take a dip. Attributing the climatic change to the active western disturbances the Jaipur Met office said that mild showers would be witnessed at many places in the state while hailstorm will also be witnessed at some places in the state.Bhilwara was followed by Churu where a minimum temperature of 6.6 degree Celsius was recorded, Udaipur 7.4, Sriganganagar 7.5, Ajmer 9.5, Jodhpur 9.5, Kota 10.4, Bikaner 10.6, Barmer 13 and a minimum temperature of 13.3 degree Celsius was recorded in Jaisalmer.Jaipur Met office further stated that winters have already started showing withdrawal symptoms as there has been a continuous rise in the day temperature. “When we see the onset of summers the maximum temperatures start rising first and gradually impact the minimum temperatures of the morning. It appears that within a week winters are going to be completely vanish from the state,” said an officer.
