Vadodara: After a short break, the city received another round of heavy rain on Wednesday. Between 6pm and 8pm on Wednesday, the city got 39mm of rain.The downpour left eight trees uprooted in various areas. Two cars were damaged after a tree on EME Road fell on them. Old City areas and some main roads in the western parts got waterlogged, creating long queues of vehicles.Disaster management officials said the city received more than five inches of rain from 8pm on Tuesday to 8pm on Wednesday. The weather had been overcast from the morning but by 4pm, the skies opened up.
