Train services to Mumbai remain crippled

Amritsar-Mumbai Central Golden Temple Mail and Mumbai Central-Ahmedabad Shatbadi Express have been cancelled for Thursday.A total of 19 trains were short-terminated during the day. This train will remain partially cancelled between Rajkot and Vadodara,” said a railway official. Virar-Bharuch passenger, Borivali-Surat passenger, Mumbai Central-Firozpur Janta Express and Secunderabad-Rajkot Express have been partially cancelled.“The Secunderabad-Rajkot Express will run via a diverted route on Igatpuri-Bhusawal-Khandwa-Bhopal-Ratlam and will be short terminated at Vadodara. Meanwhile, help has started pouring in for passengers, who are facing troubled times, due to continuous delays. But most long distance trains were running late for hours together while several got cancelled or short-terminated because of Tuesday’s disruption.Among the prominent trains that got cancelled on Wednesday were the Surat-Mumbai Central Flying Ranee, Mumbai Central – Ahmedabad Gujarat Express, Mumbai Central – Porbandar Saurashtra Express, Bandra Terminus – Surat Express, Mumbai Central – Ahmedabad Karnavati Express and Mumbai Central – Ahmedabad Double Decker.Bandra Terminus – Haridwar Express, Bandra Terminus – Delhi Sarai Rohilla Express, Sampark Kranti Express and Lok Shakti Express were rescheduled on Wednesday.
