Burglars decamp with cash, ornaments from house

Vadodara: Burglars targeted a house in Jai Santoshinagar Society in Karelibaug and decamped with cash and ornaments worth Rs 1.6 lakh. Burglars broke open the safe and stole gold ornaments worth Rs 1 lakh and Rs 32,000 and $320 cash. Trivedi then told her niece Nisha Trivedi, a resident of Race Course Road, who then went and checked. When Nisha went inside her aunt’s house, the belongings were lying scattered. Early on Wednesday, Trivedi received a call from her neighbour informing that her house had been broken into.
