Lady teacher hit with hammer, robbed at home

Kayasth’s neighbours, who had heard her shouts, rushed her to a private hospital for treatment.On Wednesday, police checked at Mojidra’s house, but he was not found there. Meanwhile, Kayasth was busy surfing her mobile phone when Mojidra walked in again and suddenly started hitting her with a hammer.Even as Kayasth shouted for help, Mojitra told her that he wanted money for his mom’s treatment. He left after Kayasth asked him to look for other options as it was not possible at the school where she works.Kayasth told police that Mojidra returned two hours later to inform that his brother was insisting for admission in New Era School.

Vadodara: A teacher of New Era Senior Secondary School was attacked with a hammer and robbed by a labourer, who had fixed tiles in her house in the past, on Tuesday afternoon.Paulomi Kayasth was attacked by labourer Jaideep Mojidra when she was alone at home after returning from school in the afternoon.Police said that Mojidra came at Kayasth’s house in Chhani around 2.30pm to talk about his nephew’s admission in the school. He left after Kayasth asked him to look for other options as it was not possible at the school where she works.Kayasth told police that Mojidra returned two hours later to inform that his brother was insisting for admission in New Era School.
