Vadodara: A 40-year-old man committed suicide in Karjan taluka on Thursday evening his wife Kailash’s, extra-marital affair.ManharParmar consumed phenyl near his house following which the neighbours and family members tried to save him. They even rushed him to SSG Hospital but he died during the treatment.Parmar’s family earlier refused to take his body back home and sought action against the man who had an affair with the deceased’s wife. Parmar had left a suicide note in his pocket wherein he had mentioned that he was being harrased by his wife’s lover, Mutaakin alias Mushtaq.“Parmar has alleged in his suicide note that his wife had an affair with Mushtaq and he knew about it. When he confronted his wife, they had a fight. He said that the affair has damaged his life,” said K M Solanki, police inspector with Karjan police station.Parmar's wife has accused the victim of domestic violence in the past. The police said that even Mushtaq allegedly harassed Parmar.The Karjan police have registered a case against Mushtaq and Kailash. “Mushtaq is still absconding but we will arrest him soon,” Solanki said.
