Doctor remanded in police custody till November 21

Cops have rescued four children that were sold by the gang to different persons in Vadodara and Madhya Pradesh. The doctor had sold a baby boy which was abandoned at his hospital to Rathore for Rs 50,000. On Thursday, police also rounded up other employees of hospital for questioning over suspicion of their involvement. We are also going through documents and papers of the hospital,” said a police official. “We will also interrogate them along with the kingpin Shailendra Rathore.

VADODARA: A doctor from Chhota Udepur who was arrested by Madhya Pradesh police for his alleged involvement in child trafficking racket was remanded to police custody till November 21.Dr A Raju, an alumnus of Baroda Medical College , who runs Kesar Hospital in Chhota Udepur town, was arrested by Alirajpur police late on Wednesday night. His employee Paresh Shah was also held in the same case. The duo was produced by police before a local court in Alirajpur sent him to police custody for investigation.Cops said that they will interrogate the accused if they had sold other infants to the gang involved in child trafficking. “We will also interrogate them along with the kingpin Shailendra Rathore.
