VADODARA: One of the most popular and loved musical shows of the country, Bipin R Pandit’s ‘Khumaar’, will be staged in Vadodara.Khumaar has been entertaining full houses of music loving audiences for the past 13 years in Mumbai and is now going national. And the first city that it is moving out of Mumbai to, is Baroda.On December 28, at 6.15pm, a three-hour concert of 'Khumaar' will regale music lovers at the Sir Sayajirao Nagargruh in Akota which can accommodate an audience of 1,000.A well-segmented show, Khumaar will enthral the audience with a wide variety of music and songs including timeless popular yesteryear hits across solos, duets, classical, qawwalis, songs of unsung heroes, along with regional songs, new songs and more for three hours.“Khumaar has been entertaining houseful audiences in Mumbai for 13 years now, and I am delighted that as it moves out of Mumbai with a national focus, the first city it will play out in is Baroda, which is my birthplace. So Khumaar is a show for every Barodian, and also for music lovers across other cities of Gujarat like Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Surat and Bharuch beyond,” Bipin R Pandit , founder and organiser of Khumaar said on Monday.Baroda-born Pandit, has been associated with the Ad Club for 21 years, and has been the point person for India’s biggest advertising, marketing and media shows.
