Atul Patel is a trustee of United Way of Baroda and also managing trustee of the Shram Mandir (Rakt Pit Ashram).As CAM’s chairman, Amrita Patel worked tirelessly for the development of the Shree Krishna Hospital and the Pramukhswami Medical College at Karamsad.From its humble origin, the hospital became the first teaching hospital in Gujarat to be accredited by the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Health Care Providers (NABH).From a 136 bed hospital nearly four decades back, it has grown to become an 800-bed hospital today and is equipped with the state-of-the-art facilities rendering professional services of the highest order.It was during her stewardship that the cardiac centre, cancer centre, bone marrow transplant centre, the privilege centre, knowledge centre, assessment centre, hospital wing expansion and critical care centre among others came up.
