Vadodara: Starting from Tuesday , the Department of Biochemistry of M S University’s Faculty of Science will host a three-day international conference on ‘Proteins, miRNA and exosomes in health and disease (PREHD-2018).The conference will focus on detrimental health issues prevalent globally and discuss novel scientific ideas and provide a fresh outlook of research in India.“The conference will play a pivotal role for students and researchers for expanding their horizons in exploring disease pathogenesis,” said professor Sarita Gupta, head of the department and chairperson of the conference.The Baroda chapter of the Indian Academy of Biomedical Sciences will also be inaugurated during the conference.“Proteins, miRNA and exosomes have been an integral part of contemporary research. Young researchers and students will get in-depth knowledge to commence their research,” said professor C Ratna Prabha, convener.Renowned scientists including professor CH Mohan Rao from the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB), Hyderabad, professor Shilpa Buch from Nebraska University, professor Pawan Singal from the Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences, Canada, professor Yoo Yung Joon from Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology, Korea and many more national and international scientists from across the globe will be present during the conference.Apart from scientific talks by speakers, young investigators and research students will present their research work in the conference as oral and poster presentations respectively.
