Vadodara man arrested for selling duplicate watches

When the watches kept for sale, it was learnt that they were all duplicate and were sold as branded watches. Officials found several watches in Dudhwala’s shop kept in display.When the accused was asked about dealership certificate or any other authorization letter for selling the watches, he could not produce. Around 1,000 watches valued at Rs 1.3 lakh were seized from Dudhwala’s shop. VADODARA: A resident of Yakutpura was arrested on Tuesday for selling duplicate watches of a prominent watch manufacturing brand from his shop in Mangal Bazaar.Accused Siddique Dudhwala’s shop was raided on Tuesday afternoon by a company protecting intellectual property rights of several multinational companies along with staff of City police station.
