Vadodara district witnessed a decreasing trend of covid cases

City had registered the highest cases in a day on Saturday when 135 positive cases were registered. It came down 131 new cases on Sunday and 129 on Monday. On these days testing remained high and more test were conducted in previous days.

Vadodara district witnessed a decreasing trend for the second consecutive day. As per the official data 4,255 test were conducted during 24 hour ending on Monday evening and 129 positive cases were detected.

City had registered the highest cases in a day on Saturday when 135 positive cases were registered. It came down 131 new cases on Sunday and 129 on Monday. On these days testing remained high and more test were conducted in previous days.

The total number of cases in the city and district went up to 10,688. Up till now 109 cases are discharged from home isolation or hospital in the city, number of cured patients up to 9,010. Total number of admitted patients now stands at 1,500 including 63 on ventilator or BIPAP machine an 167 on oxygen support.

Vadodara Municipal Cooperation confirmed the death of two more person during Covid-19. Officer on special duty of Covid-19 Vinod Rai said there are sufficient  beds in the city. The overall occupancy of beds in Covid-19 hospital stood at 59%. Occupancy of ventilator bed stood at 74% while the ICU bed stood at 76%.
