National Youth Day: SSNNL Director Rajiv Gupta pay tribute to Swami Vivekananda

The First National Youth Day was celebrated in1985, following which the event is observed every year.

Every year the National Youth Day is celebrated in the Country on January 12 on the birthday of Swami Vivekananda. This year many prominent personalities took to Twitter to wish the youths of the Country.

Dr Rajiv Kumar Gupta, Chief Secretary Forest & Environment Department Gujarat, wrote “ Our tributes to great saint & philosopher #swamivivekanda on his birth anniversary. His vital thinking & ideology is great source of inspiration for youths. Let’s follow his ideas to make a better #AtmaNirbharBharat. #NationalYouthDay2021 #youthday.”

Even PM Modi took to Twitter and posted an inspiring quote of Swami Vivekananda: "I have faith in my country and especially in the youth of my country". Prime Minister Modi wrote, "12th January is a special day. We pay homage to Swami Vivekananda and mark National Youth Day as a tribute to India`s Yuva Shakti." Today, PM Modi will address the valedictory programme of the National Youth Parliament Festival.
