VARANASI: A 12-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a youth at a village in Chitbadagaon area of UP's Ballia district on May 14. The accused was yet to be arrested.According to reports, finding the girl alone, a local youth, Manish Yadav, allegedly raped her at a tube well. On the complaint of rape survivor’s father, the police lodged an FIR on Sunday evening. The girl narrated the ordeal to her family members after returning home.The girl’s father reported the matter to police on Sunday. Two others, including a woman, allegedly assisted the accused.
