Six-year-old girl raped in UP's Ballia district

VARANASI: A six-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a youth at a village in Phephana police station area of Ballia district on Monday night. The accused was absconding.According to reports, a youth Raju Rajbhar of the same village allegedly sneaked into girl’s house to rape her. The police said that the FIR was lodged after medical examination, and a manhunt was launched to nab the accused. They found the girl in traumatized state with torn cloths and bruise on body.The matter was reported to police. Hearing her cries the family members woke up, but the accused managed to flee from the scene.
