Caste quota plan will checkmate SP, BSP: Rajbhar

Earlier, they exploited them separately, but now they want to loot these most backward castes collectively,” said Rajbhar while talking to reporters in Ballia on Monday evening.“Now, the people belonging to the most backward castes (MBCs) and Schedule Castes (SCs) have understood their nefarious design. Similarly, 22.5% reservation for SCs would also be divided into three categories: dalit, ati-dalit and sarvadhik dalit.“Some people call me a joker. But, they did not give due share to these castes. I admit that I am in the role of a joker by raising this issue, as it is essential to do ‘jokargiri’ to make people understand it. Any film or drama is incomplete without a joker.

VARANASI: UP minister and president of SBSP Om Prakash Rajbhar accused the SP and BSP of ignoring the OBCs during their regimes and claimed that the ‘Brahmashtra’ of caste quota planned by the BJP-SBSP alliance in the state will shatter their dream of plundering these castes in the next general elections He claimed that the SP and BSP would get a major setback like 2014 and 2017 polls in 2019 also.“Both SP and BSP came to power in the name of 17 castes of OBCs. But, they did not give due share to these castes. These castes will stand with our alliance after categorization as well as their share is decided,” he said adding that it is BJP-SBSP alliance’s Brahmashtra for 2019 polls.“In fact, OBCs and SCs have been treated as ‘keeda-makoda’ (insects) by the rulers since independence. But, these rulers don’t know that these insects can destroy them if they will hold them,” he added.Rajbhar said it has been planned to categorize 27% reservation for OBC into three categories: Pichhada (backward), ati-pichhada (very backward) and sarvadhik pichhada (most backward). Similarly, 22.5% reservation for SCs would also be divided into three categories: dalit, ati-dalit and sarvadhik dalit.“Some people call me a joker. Any film or drama is incomplete without a joker. I admit that I am in the role of a joker by raising this issue, as it is essential to do ‘jokargiri’ to make people understand it. Since there was no ‘jokergiri’ in seven decades since independence, people coming from castes like Rajbhar, Chauhan, Bind, Kewat, Mallah, Prajapati, Kumhar are yet to get even a job of ‘sipahi’ (constable),” he added.Comparing himself with reel character Gabbar Singh of Bollywood blockbuster “Sholey”, Rajbhar said, “Yehan se 50-50 kos door tak kisi garib par atyachar hoga to main adhikariyon se kehata hun ki Om Prakash Rajbhar aa jayega (I tell the officials that if a poor is oppressed, Om Prakash Rajbhar will be there).”
