Use social media platforms for benefit of society says PM

VARANASI: Instead of making derogatory attacks on others, the social media platforms should be used for positive purpose and the benefit of the society. On the same line the social media platforms should be utilized. On many occasions, even clash of two neighbours in minor disputes are made viral like national news on the social media.Holding it unfair, Modi asked to utilize the social media for positive purpose. He asked the people to ensure success of all vaccination programmes and availability of clean drinking water to end the root causes of ailment. Many people cross all limits while making derogatory remarks on others and woman are also wrongly portrayed by them.

VARANASI: Instead of making derogatory attacks on others, the social media platforms should be used for positive purpose and the benefit of the society. This was stated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the third day of his direct interaction with party cadres through Namo app on Wednesday.He answered the questions of office bearers and workers of BJP's frontal organisations including Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha and Swadeshi Jagran Manch.On being asked by SJMs Anand Srivastava that how the social media should be utilized to propagate the government schemes, Modi recalled the visions of former President late APJ Abdul Kalam and said, "Kalam used to say that discussions on positive issues should be promoted in the country. He also appealed them to ensure active participation of Kashi denizens to make the city ready to welcome the guests of proposed NRI meet in January.Replying to another cadre Manoj Kumar Srivastava's question on health facilities he said that at a time when Banaras Hindu University 's Institute of Medical science and its hospital is going to develop on the line of AIIMS the facilities for cancer treatment is improving in Varanasi. The city will turn to medical hub, he said adding, big network of wellness centers is developing in the country while telemedicine facilities are also being made available. He asked the people to ensure success of all vaccination programmes and availability of clean drinking water to end the root causes of ailment.
