Court declares ex-MP, his son 'absconders'

Mahesh's brother Guddu Jaiswal had approached the local court to declare Jawahar and his son Gaurav as accused in this murder case.After the two were named as accused in the murder, the local court ordered a fresh probe into the case. However, Jawahar and Gaurav did not appear before the court despite several warrants after which police moved their application. Later, the court declared the two as absconder. VARANASI: The chief judicial magistrate court, on Friday, declared former Samajwadi Party MP Jawahar Jaiswal and his son Gaurav as absconders after they failed to appear before the court despite several warrants, in connection with a 2012 murder case.The chief judicial magistrate JP Yadav issued the order after inspector of Cantonment police station Rajiv Ranjan Upadhyay submitted an application.As per reports maintained by Cantonment police, the ex-MP and his son were accused of murdering a bank employee Mahesh Jaiswal at the latter's residence in Orderly Bazaar area on April 23, 2012.
