VARANASI: Ahead of PM Narendra Modi's proposed visit to Varanasi, chief minister Yogi Adityanath took stock of the preparations and appealed to the people not to remove Diwali decorations and lighting from their houses to celebrate the festival again on November 12 when Modi will gift projects of over Rs 2,300 crore to the district.Immediately after reaching Varanasi on Friday evening, Yogi reached Inland Waterways Authority of India's multi-modal terminal at Ramnagar, where he inspected the completed work after receiving a guard of honour.
