Girl gang raped in UP's Ballia district

VARANASI: A teenage girl was allegedly gang raped by two youths at a village here in Rasara area of Ballia district during Chhath Puja festival on November 13. She was admitted to the district hospital for treatment. They were booked under sections 376 D ( gang rape ), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 506 (criminal intimidation) of IPC. After gaining consciousness she returned home and narrated the ordeal to her parents. When she became unconscious, the accused fled from the scene.

VARANASI: A teenage girl was allegedly gang raped by two youths at a village here in Rasara area of Ballia district during Chhath Puja festival on November 13. She was admitted to the district hospital for treatment. An FIR was lodged in this regard on Wednesday evening and a manhunt has been launched to nab the absconding accused.According to reports, the girl had gone to field in the evening when the two youths dragged her to a lonely place and allegedly raped her. When she became unconscious, the accused fled from the scene. After gaining consciousness she returned home and narrated the ordeal to her parents. She was taken to Rasara community health centre from where she was referred to the district hospital after first aid.Rasara inspector Gyanendra Mishra said that a case was lodged on the complaint of girl’s father against two youths identified as Bechan Singh and Akash Singh. They were booked under sections 376 D ( gang rape ), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 506 (criminal intimidation) of IPC.
