VARANASI: After an FIR was lodged against Samajwadi Party leader and party's Maharashtra state president Abu Azmi with Saraimeer police on November 13 for allegedly passing derogatory remarks against the PM and CM. Azmi on Thursday sent a video message to justify his stand."It is my constitutional right to speak against even a person of high stature. Prime Minister aur Yogi ji to bahut chhote aadmi hain, main Trump jo duniya ka sabse takatwar aadmi hai ke khilaf puri takat se America mein jakar bol sakta hun (PM and Yogi are very low profile men, I can speak loudly against Donald Trump , who is the most powerful man of the world, in America)," said Azmi in his video message adding that no one can shut his mouth."I have no objection in changing the name if it brings development, but it has become a daily practice of changing the names of cities. The government should first work for the development instead of changing names," he said."People are going to Dubai and Saudi Arabia in search of jobs, as there is no job opportunities here for them," he said the Constitution has given him power to speak against it.He alleged that the inspector of Saraimeer police station spoke to him rudely and in a humiliating tone. "He can take action as per the law, but cannot talk in such an insulting manner. I can also take (legal) action against him," he said.
