Contractor clash: FIR against 15 identified, 60 unidentified villagers

VARANASI: Kone police in Sonbhadra district on Thursday lodged two cases in Wednesday's clash between natives of Harra village and men of a sand mining contractor near Barahmori in a road related dispute.CO Obra Gyan Prakash Rai said that on the complaint of sand mining contractor's firm manager, an FIR against 15 identified and over 60 unidentified Harra village natives had been lodged under sections 307, 384, 427, 435, 536 of IPC and 7 CL Act.The villagers also gave a complaint against the firm's Pratap Singh and others, he said adding, this complaint was also registered under section 323 and 504.
