UP: Mysterious explosion at carpet manufacturing unit claims at least 11 lives in Bhadohi

Around noon on Saturday, a massive explosion took place inside the building causing it to collapse. Locals claimed that a large number of labourers were busy in weaving carpet when the explosion took place.The ADG said that rescue operations were on under the supervision of SP Bhadohi. The neighbouring building was also badly damaged.The sound of explosion created panic in the area, however, within a few minutes locals started bid to rescue the people buried under the debris. Chauri cops also reached the spot and alerted senior officials.
