Workshop on regional anaesthesia, pain intervention today

Varanasi: The pain division of the department of anaesthesia, Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University is organising a one-day workshop on regional anaesthesia and pain intervention on Monday. More than 60 participants, including doctors and students from AIIMS, SGPGI and KGMU will participate in the workshop. In this workshop, junior doctors from IMS and other states will be trained by the experts how to cure chronic pain, which is not being cured by operation and other medicines, through ultrasound guided injection method. The organising secretary Dr Anil Paswan said that the workshop will be held in the post-operative unit of the anaesthesia department of Sir Sunderlal Hospital. The workshop aimed to promote eco-friendly and inexpensive forms of architecture. Architects taught techniques using bamboo for reinforcement and mud for cementing. This form of architecture is long-lasting and practical applications were discussed using modern software. The workshop received a huge turnout, indicating a growing interest in sustainable construction methods.
