Man killed by two, writes one name with blood

VARANASI: A private firm employee was brutally murdered by some miscreants in Parde Kothi locality in Sigra police station area on Monday night. Senior police officials including IG and SSP also visited the site.Gupta lived on the upper floor of the godwan.

VARANASI: A private firm employee was brutally murdered by some miscreants in Parde Kothi locality in Sigra police station area on Monday night. Before succumbing to injuries he wrote a name with his blood on the floor. The police have detained two persons in this connection.According to reports, in a loot bid some micreants broke into the godown of a firm on Monday night. They killed the manager Ashok Gupta (55) with a sharp-edge weapon and also took away the DVD of CCTV camera.Later, finding the doors open in late night the guard informed the police. Gupta was found dead and a name Vikas was found inscribed with blood on the floor. The police found Rs 25 lakh cash in the almirah. Senior police officials including IG and SSP also visited the site.Gupta lived on the upper floor of the godwan. It is suspected that the miscreants killed him after he refused to give the keys of almirah. The matter is being investigated, said Sigra SO Gopalji Gupta.
