VIJAYAWADA: Chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday said that the Bharatiya Janata Party BJP ) has absolute majority in the Lok Sabha to lead the Union government and hence the amount of pressure applied by the state government is not enough to get the central support.Interacting with the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders during the party coordination meeting, Naidu said,“BJP has a clear majority though it is in coalition with TDP. Will the no-confidence motion against the Modi government in such a scenario will serve the interests of the state?”Naidu said if the centre is dependent on TDP MPs for its survival, pressure can be built on it. All parties should wage a united fight, he said. Expressing his dissatisfaction with the BJP, he said “The Congress has ruined the state with unscientific bifurcation. Then, we hoped the BJP will do justice. But it is also going the same way. The people of the state are of the view that none of the two national parties has done justice to the state.”Naidu also sought to know if special status was given to other states why is not extended to Andhra Pradesh.
