KRU V-C launches mobile app on entrance test

Krishna University (KRU) Vice-Chancellor S. Ramakrishna Rao on Tuesday launched KRUCET-2008 mobile application. Natya Sangeetam courseThe KRU has introduced a new course, Diploma in Kuchipudi Natya Sangeetam with specialisation in vocal, violin, veena and flute. Those who successfully complete the Natya Sangeetam course would have ample opportunities in conducting the live Kuchipudi dance programmes. Mr. Ramakrishna Rao has said that the mobile app was meant to provide better service to students, beginning with the application status, downloading hall-ticket, results and status of the post graduation seats allotted to them. Using the mobile app, candidates can get access to the status of their application for admission into various post graduation courses, apart from alerts about various academic developments.

The application could be downloaded from the Google Play Store. KRU Director of Admissions Mr. Rama Sekhar Reddy told The Hindu that the university was planning to provide the data pertaining to the subjects of all the courses being offered by the university. Natya Sangeetam course The KRU has introduced a new course, Diploma in Kuchipudi Natya Sangeetam with specialisation in vocal, violin, veena and flute. “The one-year Natya Sangeetam course is exclusive course introduced to groom the experts to lend their support to the dancers with violin, veena, flute apart from their vocal support,” said Kuchipudi dance courses co-coordinator Pasumarthy Kesava Prasad. Those who successfully complete the Natya Sangeetam course would have ample opportunities in conducting the live Kuchipudi dance programmes.
