Combined entrance test results announced

The national-level entrance test conducted on May 20 this year by the Vidyapeetha comprised of Combined Shiksha Shastri Entrance Test (CSSET), Combined Shiksha Acharya Entrance Test (CSAET) and Combined Vidya Varidhi Test (CVVT), considered the one-stop entrance test for admission to various streams of Sanskrit education. The results of the All India Combined Entrance Test for admission to Sanskrit B.Ed (Shiksha Shastri), M.Ed (Shiksha Acharya) and Ph.D. (in different Sastras), were released by the Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha (RSVP) Vice-Chancellor V. Muralidhara Sharma on Monday. Of the 7523 candidates who took the test ( 5898 for B.Ed., 128 for M.Ed and 1497 for Ph.D.), 6707 appeared for the test and the number of candidates who qualified the test were 2212 (B.Ed. Entrance convener and Dean (Faculty of Education) Prahlad R. Joshi, who gave a presentation on the pattern of results, announced that counselling would commence by month end. Narasimha Shastri, Additional coordinators Radha Govinda Tripathy, Sachidananda Murthy and N.Latha were among the participants.

Emphasising on the quality of Sanskrit education, Prof. Sharma narrated the Vidyapeetha's legacy in maintaining traditional knowledge blended with modernity for the benefit of students and the society. Entrance convener and Dean (Faculty of Education) Prahlad R. Joshi, who gave a presentation on the pattern of results, announced that counselling would commence by month end. Registrar Ch.P. Satyanarayana, Dean (Academic affairs) R.L. Narasimha Shastri, Additional coordinators Radha Govinda Tripathy, Sachidananda Murthy and N.Latha were among the participants.
