Girl ends life after lover cheats her in Kankipadu

Cops said they will arrest Kiran Kumar soon. According to Kankipadu police , the incident happened in the morning after her brother and father left home. Soon, after reaching home, they were shocked to find Rani hanging from the ceiling leaving a suicide note beside her. In her suicide note, Rani alleged that she was cheated by a boy whom she loved as he declared that he would be marrying someone else. VIJAYAWADA: In a tragic incident, a 22-year-old girl committed suicide by hanging at her residence in Punadipadu village of Kankipadu mandal within Vijayawada police commissionerate limits on Saturday.The deceased was identified as Loya Rani (22), a B.Tech graduate.

According to Kankipadu police , the incident happened in the morning after her brother and father left home. Soon, after reaching home, they were shocked to find Rani hanging from the ceiling leaving a suicide note beside her. In her suicide note, Rani alleged that she was cheated by a boy whom she loved as he declared that he would be marrying someone else. “Your suspicion is true, I did love a boy who after being in a relationship with me chose to marry someone else…I am dying because of my mistake,” Rani wrote in her suicide letter addressed to her dad.Rani completed her engineering course one year ago in a private engineering college in Kankipadu and has been brought up by her dad after her mother passed away years ago.Cops said that Rani was in a relationship with one assistant professor Kiran Kumar (27) in the same college in which she completed engineering. “When Kiran Kumar expressed his reluctance of marrying her, she fell into depression and took the extreme step,” a police official said.Rani also mentioned her boyfriend's phone number and wrote that she had lost interest in living without him. Cops have booked a case under section 174 of CrPC (suspicious death). They are currently collecting the call records and investigating the connection between the man and Rani. Cops said they will arrest Kiran Kumar soon. The investigation is still on.
