KURNOOL: Having lost hope that society will ever become a better place to accommodate the victims of male child sex abuse, a 24-year-old man wants to end his life through euthanasia Vishnu Teja from Kurnool in Andhra Pradesh wrote to President Ram Nath Kovind and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu , requesting them to grant him permission for euthanasia as he wanted to "get relieved from the pain" of reliving the incidents as a victim of child sexual abuse Vishnu Teja said that he was sexually abused at the age of 4 by a man. Later, he was again abused when he was 8 and 10 by his teachers. While he suffered the pain at a tender age and could not tell anyone out of fear and shyness, he has been fighting with the countless nightmares from his bitter past.According to him, it has not been easy to stand up and face the world or even to complain about the trauma that the male victims undergo. “It takes a lot of courage to fight back and speak up about male sex victims,” he said.
