HC warns of replacing probe agency in Ayesha Meera case

The court was perusing a report filed by SIT chief Ch Srikanth on Friday.After hearing D Suresh Kumar, parents' counsel, who raised doubts about the fresh probe too because it was also going on in the same lines as the previous probe and was not examining suspects despite furnishing of names, the bench said, "If SIT is incapable of carrying forward the investigation to its logical end, then we may have to look at the issue from a different angle including change of investigation itself".
