“In view of this, UTS mobile ticketing App is very useful to the passengers of Guntur division,” emphasized Bhooma. She said that about 5.48 million passengers from the total are from unreserved segment which comes around 88% of the total passengers. She explained that about 6.21 million passengers travelled from Guntur division since April to June during the current fiscal. Speaking to the media, Bhooma said that app will particularly help passengers from Guntur division as an overwhelming 89 per cent of the total passengers are from unreserved segment. “About 24.46 million of passengers originate from Guntur division during 2017-18 fiscal. However, 21.70 million passengers from the total commuters are from unreserved segment. This comes around 89% of the total passengers,” said Bhooma. She explained that about 6.21 million passengers travelled from Guntur division since April to June during the current fiscal.
