The party organised protests in all the towns with the senior leaders and activists taking part and extending support to the MPs.Party spokesman Ambati Rambabu , at a news conference in Vijayawada, alleged that the TDP and the BJP were playing the no confidence drama with a clear understanding. He also expressed doubts over BJP national president Amit Shah meeting some leaders in Hyderabad and Chandrababu Naidu meeting Nitin Gadkari in the last week.“The Lok Sabha Speaker did not even consider the YSR Congress MPs’ notices in the last session. She claimed that the Houses was not in order. But, today, the House was not in order and the TDP MPs surprisingly were standing in their seats. The moment the Speaker announced that she is taking up the notices, the TDP MPs were found in their seats. All this gives scope for a well-planned drama by the BJP and TDP,” Ambati Rambabu alleged.
