National highways gives boost to real sector in capital region

Vijayawada: While the real estate sector is struggling to gain momentum in Andhra Pradesh capital region, the National Highways (NH) giving much needed thrust to the real estate sector. He opined that the fate of real sector in capital region will depend on the next government. The builders in the capital region banking on the projects along the national highways.The land rates have skyrocketed immediately after the announcement of capital. Chanumolu Srinivasa Rao, a realtor from Poranki told that highway expansion acted as a catalyst for the real estate sector in Vijayawada along NH-65. With the government imposing restrictions on land transactions and the rates continue to be on the higher side, real sector stagnated in and around Vijayawada.When nothing is working out for capital region realtors, they have found hope in NH-65 expansion works.

The builders in the capital region banking on the projects along the national highways.The land rates have skyrocketed immediately after the announcement of capital. The transactions have come to a grinding halt in Vijayawada as entire focus shifted to Amaravati. Many people have bought lands in core capital area. With the government imposing restrictions on land transactions and the rates continue to be on the higher side, real sector stagnated in and around Vijayawada.When nothing is working out for capital region realtors, they have found hope in NH-65 expansion works. The fast pace of works also gave confidence to the realtors and immediately grounded their projects banking on the demand for highway facing sites.Many commercial ventures were grounded along the highway and the satellite villages like Kanuru, Poranki, Tadigadapa, Penamaluru, Kankipadu witnessed big ticket investments from the realtors. As the commercial ventures started to come in, demand for residential ventures started to grow in these areas. Chanumolu Srinivasa Rao, a realtor from Poranki told that highway expansion acted as a catalyst for the real estate sector in Vijayawada along NH-65. He observed that the projects along the highways will always be in demand and the stagnated real estate gaining momentum again in Vijayawada.The west side of NH-65 that was already developed also witnessing new ventures and projects getting grounded in Gollapudi, Rayanapadu, Guntupalli and Ibrahimpatnam areas.Similar trend was observed on either side of NH-16. Big ticket projects were launched on south side of NH-16 at Tadepalli, Mangalagiri and other areas along the highway. The Gannavaram area also witnessed similar trend on the North side of the highway. Surapaneni Mohan another builder having his venture at Tadepalli told that the present political uncertainty actually slowed down the market. He opined that the fate of real sector in capital region will depend on the next government.
